DD Planning Lists

DBHDD maintains a list of people who have applied and been found eligible to receive services associated with supporting people who have developmental disabilities. This list is commonly referred to as The Developmental Disability (DD) Planning List or the planning list. The most basic criteria for inclusion on the DD Planning list are that each individual has a qualifying Developmental Disability as defined in Georgia §37-1-1.

Currently the list is managed by splitting it into two parts, the Long Term Planning List and the Short Term Planning List. The determination regarding which list (Long or Short Term) a person is placed on is based on the assessed priority conditions.
