Some Google Chrome users have experienced problems using the IDIS 3.0 electronic filing system. This appears to be due to a password saving feature in the Chrome browser that inadvertently causes the wrong password to be entered in IDIS when logging into an account or attempting to file a report. If the saved password has been changed, or if the user files reports for more than one committee, Chrome may automatically enter the original saved password even if the user attempts to type in a different one.
Users who experience this problem are advised to either log into the IDIS system through a different browser, or to delete any saved passwords in Google Chrome and not use the browser’s password saving feature for the IDIS system.
To delete a password in Google Chrome:
Open the Chrome browser and click Menu at the top right.
Choose Settings
At the bottom, click Show Advanced Settings
Under Passwords and forms, click Manage passwords. A box will appear with a list of saved passwords.
In the Saved passwords section, select any entries for the IDIS website and click Delete.
Click Done.
