Bicyclists on hwy, E 20 .Silverstar to end of plowing.

Weather: Sunny 70 , no wind , pleasant...

Snowpack: Wet , unconsolidated , slushy 16:33

Area Description: 1st red zone west of cutthroat rd. hwy. 20

Avalanches: Reported to me , D4 avalanche , 8' to 15 ' deep wall across roadway. Cyclists west of avy. decended E. calf deep slush debris with trees to return to open hiway , E. of red zone. All other cyclists accounted for. Both cyclists , experienced B.C. skiers expressed regret at not having rescue gear and not following safe travel protocol in avy. terrain while climbing. They urged me to post this awareness warning. X
