Wisconsin State Tribal Relations Initiative

Welcome to the State-Tribal Consultation Initiative website!

On February 27, 2004, Executive Order #39 was issued, recognizing the sovereignty of the 11 tribal governments in Wisconsin and the unique government-to-government relationship that exists between the State and the tribes. To carry out the Order, the State-Tribal Consultation Initiative was established.
