Tyga 'is sued for failing to make payments on Ferrari'... after having the car repossessed TWICE

Tyga's car payment drama is far from over.

After having his Ferrari repossessed twice, the 27-year-old is now being sued for failing to make his lease payments on the car, according to a new report.

TMZ claims that a man named Alex Benedict has filed a lawsuit against Tyga over a red Ferrari 488.

Sued: Tyga is being sued for failing to make payments after having his Ferrari repossessed twice. He was served last week (pictured that night) while celebrating his birthday

The car was repossessed in August after Tyga apparently failed to pay off what he owed, but the rapper's team threatened legal action and he managed to get the vehicle back shortly afterwards.

According to TMZ, Tyga struck up a deal with Benedict and was supposed to give the car back last month.

It was repossessed once again earlier this month when he didn't stick to the agreement. Benedict is now seeking $150,000 in damages, the publication reports.

It comes after Tyga was served legal papers a day before he turned 27 on Friday, suggesting that this may be the lawsuit he was served for.

Trouble: The car (which Tyga is pictured with last month) was repossessed twice after Tyga failed to make payments, and he is now being sued

The Rack City hitmaker was celebrating at Penthouse nightclub in West Hollywood when a man appeared and handed over the new papers.

The process server was then forcibly removed from the venue, according to TMZ

Tyga has been caught up in a string of legal and financial battles over the past year.

He was recently ordered to pay $200,000 in a jewellery lawsuit - and has since paid off $100,000 plus interest - and repayments were due to be settled in debtor's examination last month.

The need for speed: The rapper is a big fan of flashy cars and his son King Cairo even had a Ferrari themed birthday party last month

However after just two hours of grilling, the Ayo rapper asked for the questioning to end because he felt he was too sick to proceed.

The legal representative for the opposing party explained: 'Considering there are a number of documents we asked him to produce that he had not brought with him and the fact that we still have a lot more questions to ask, we have agreed for him to return with the documents on November 1 for the remainder of the examination.'

Meanwhile earlier this year Tyga was ordered to pay his former landlord $186,000 over a trashed property in Malibu.
