Shop 'til you drop: Jesse Metcalfe and his fiancée Cara Santana look exhausted after a day of hitting LA stores

Jesse Metcalfe and fiancée Cara Santana made the most of their Monday while taking care of some shopping in LA.

The star of Desperate Housewives and his partner appeared to be weary after their trip to the stores.

Even so, the fatigued couple's shopping spree looked like a success. The two were seen holding an armful of bags with the label from brands like New Balance showing.

A pair of aviator glasses, caramel-colored boots and a scruffy face lent the Dallas star's outfit the perfect touch of cool.

Although Jesse looked tired, he was still able to rock his denim jacket and matching distressed jeans. 

Model Cara looked comfy chic in a striped grey sweater, cut-off trousers and dark sunglasses.

They were probably getting a jump start on holiday shopping.

After all, the couple is known for their soft-spot for helping others.

In 2014, they traveled to Botswana to help UNICEF develop programs and bring awareness to issues facing children in developing nations.

The couple have been dating since 2009. In 2011, Metcalfe and Santana briefly split but the pair quickly reconciled.

They have been engaged since August of this year.

Not one to pass up a memorable opportunity, the California-born celebrity popped the question with an impressive 5.5 carat stone while on a 50-foot sailboat in New York's Hudson River.

'It’s been a long time coming, but we couldn’t be happier,' Metcalfe told Us Weekly of the engagement.

Metcalfe started his career on the NBC daytime drama Passions back in 1999.

Most recently, the heartthrob was on screen in Dead Rising: End Game, the latest chapter of the zombie-horror franchise.
