Journal of Post-Harvest Technology

The Journal of Postharvest Technology provides a forum for the rapid dissemination of significant novel and high impact research in the field of postharvest technology. The journal is mainly devoted to horticultural crops, however other agricultural crops may also be considered. The journal publishes review articles, original research articles, short communications, perspectives, letters to the editors and book reviews on various aspects of postharvest technology. These include pre-harvest factors affecting postharvest quality including composition and nutritional attributes, postharvest physiology, postharvest pest management practices, cooling and storage technologies, packaging innovations, and biotechnological approaches for improving postharvest quality of fresh produce. The journal also covers the related topics of processing and value addition of horticultural crops with special focus on nutritional quality, stability, and bioavailability of nutrients in processed products.
