In keeping with the District of Columbia’s commitment to transparency in contracting and increased competition, the Office of Contracting and Procurement now provides a Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contracts. All notices are posted for ten (10) days prior to the award of a sole source contract. 11/30/2016 12/10/2016 The District of Columbia Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) has an immediate and on-going need for a contractor to repair FEMS’ E-One fire apparatus and supply genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. In order to ensure that FEMS’ apparatus meets federal motor vehicle safety and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; complies with OEM requirements; and that repair services and replacement parts do not void any vehicle warranties, FEMS requires a vendor that is authorized by the manufacturer to meet the aforementioned needs. Patriot Fire LLC is the only distributor and service provider for E-One fire apparatus in the District of Columbia and the States of Maryland and Delaware. If awarded, FEMS shall enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Patriot Fire LLC with a Not-To Exceed limit of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000.00) for FY 2017. 11/30/2016 12/10/2016 Office of the State Superintendent of Education - BUILD The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Division of Early Learning (DEL) has an immediate requirement to become part of a nationally recognized consortium of member states that focus on the implementation of high quality early childhood education to provide capacity building, technical assistance and professional development for agency staff, District of Columbia early childhood educators, and District of Columbia community based organizations offering subsidized early childhood education services. In order to further advance the establishment of high quality publically funded early childhood education D.C. Official Code §271.01 et seq (2008; Amended 2010) and licensing (29 D.C. Mun. Regs. § 300 et seq) in the District of Columbia. The period of performance will be from the date of award through September 30, 2017. The therapy shall be conducted in Spanish and the therapist shall be a licensed trauma informed mental health clinician (LICSW, LPC, etc.). The vendor will be required to submit a monthly summary of the client’s progress in therapy to include, but not limited to, measurable treatment goals, progress towards treatment goals, barriers to treatment and any additional clinical recommendations if applicable.
