One Stop Business Registration & Licensing

Introduction

OneStop

Welcome to the State of Delaware's One Stop Business Registration and Licensing System. Here, you will be able to register your business with the Division of Revenue, the Division of Unemployment Insurance and the Office of Workers Compensation. If you are currently registered with the Division of Revenue, you can apply for new or additional licenses by selecting Additional License under Services on the left. You can also link to the Division of Corporations to access incorporation forms and reserve a legal entity name. Lastly, by linking to and registering with the Internal Revenue Service, you will be able to receive your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN). If your registration with the Division of Revenue includes obtaining a Delaware business license, a temporary license will be produced upon the successful completion of this online registration. Effective 9/16/2008 the license fee for most retailers includes a fee of $15.00 for each location to fund the prosecution of retail crime. The Division of Unemployment Insurance will review your registration and mail a letter of liability determination and if applicable, a registration poster.

Before you begin the registration process you will need a credit card to purchase your business license, your Workers Compensation Insurance Policy, the number of employees and their payroll for the last five years if applicable. Motor vehicle dealers and non-resident contractors may be required to supply a surety bond. Please select
Prerequisites here or on the left under Information for a complete list if the items that you will need.

In addition to registering at One Stop, you will need to ensure compliance with local zoning laws, the Division of Professional Regulations, the Departments of Agriculture, Health, Natural Resources & Environmental Control, State and Transportation as necessary. Please select  Workers Compensation
here for information on the Workers Compensation laws and answers to frequently asked questions.

If you need help during registration, instructions are located on the right of each screen. You will notice the letters BR followed by a number on each screeen. "BR" stands for "Business Requirement" and helps us troubleshoot in the event of a problem. Also, please note your Session ID. This number will be necessary in case you are unable to complete the registration process during a single session.

To proceed, please select
Initial Registration and New License
here or on the left under Services.
