Biography

Robert Farnam was from Brooklyn and rowed for the Seawanhaka Boat Club at the 1904 Olympics. In 1905, he and Olympic partner, [Joe Ryan], added a national title in the fours, recruiting [Joseph McLoughlin] from the [Ravenswood BC] to join them. McLoughlin had rowed on the boat which finished second in 1904 to Farnam and Ryan.
