It's been a while, but Bruno Mars is back with a capital B with brand-new single 24K Magic. Although he did have a lengthy stint at Number 1 with his old mate Mark Ronson on Uptown Funk – bit of an unknown buzz single, not sure if you've heard it – Bruno hasn't been seen all alone in the Top 40 for just over three years.
But what a chart record he has. Fourteen Top 40s, with nine of those going Top 10 and an incredible five of them hitting Number 1. And when it comes to million-sellers, Bruno has it going on.
We delved into the stats, added his downloads, streams and physical sales, to reveal Bruno's 10 biggest songs in the UK. First, let's take a close look at the big 5:
5: The Lazy Song (2011)
While Bruno may not have felt like doing anything, this song certainly did. The Lazy Song, which was the final hit off his debut album Doo-Wops and Hooligans, is Bruno's most recent Number 1 all on his own. It spent a month at Number 2 in total, managing to nudge off LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem to spend a single week at the top. The song came about after a hard day in the studio where Bruno had been putting the hours in but still didn't like the results. He was about to throw in the towel when inspiration struck. When The Lazy Song hit the top, it was Bruno's fourth Number 1 in the space of a year. Its 8.9 million streams and 747,000 sales make it Bruno's fifth biggest tune.
4: Locked Out of Heaven (2012)
This retro tune, inspired by The Police, was the lead single from Bruno's sophomore effort Unorthodox Jukebox. It spent three weeks at Number 2, beaten to the top by One Direction, Olly Murs and Gabrielle Aplin, who sang that year's John Lewis advert. Since streaming started counting toward the chart in 2014, Locked Out Of Heaven has amassed 16.1 million plays. Its sales tally stands at 852,000.
3: Grenade (2011)
Another chart-topper from Bruno's amazing first year of success, Grenade was one of the last songs to be completed for his debut album. Apparently, it was changed at the last minute from an uptempo to the moody, dramatic number we know today. Grenade has logged 9.3 million streams since 2014, and when it comes to sales, it's not far from being a million-seller, with 987,000 copies sold. Watch out for Grenade turning seven-digits sometime next year, maybe?

2: Just The Way You Are (Amazing) (2010)
The very first single from Bruno's debut album, Just The Way You Are was his second Number 1 in the UK, after his collaboration with B.O.B. – Nothin' On You. The track, which had the (Amazing) added to its title for us lucky Brits only, had two stints at Number 1, each for a week, three weeks apart. It certainly did amazingly, spending two months in the Top 10 and 26 weeks – that's six months – in the Top 40. Just The Way You Are has notched up 14 million streams since we started counting in 2014, and it was also Bruno's first million seller, shifting 1.32 million copies. (Amazing.)
1: Uptown Funk (2014)
Not so much a song as a phenomenon, this track took off in a big way when it was performed on The X Factor by Fleur East before its actual UK release. Demand was so high that the release date was brought forward by a month! Bruno may have only been a guest star on Mark Ronson's huge hit, but it wouldn't be the same without him. Uptown Funk was Number 1 for seven weeks and has racked up sales of over 1.6 million, plus 88.4 million streams!
