He did it! Tom Brady did it! With the New England Patriots victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 4, Tom broke Peyton Manning’s record to become the one quarterback with the most wins in NFL history!
Tom, 39, couldn’t have written a better way to earn his 201st win and cement himself as arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. In front of a packed crowd at his home field of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Tom led the Pats over the Rams, 26-10.
Not only that, Tom went 33-for-46 during the game, racking up 269 yards and another touchdown pass, connecting with Chris Hogan, 28. With the win, the Pats are now 10-2 and set to make the postseason. Nice. At the end of the game, Tom realized that he couldn’t have become the most winning quarterback in the NFL without the help of a lot of people.
“You know, I’m just grateful for all my teammates and my coaches, and my family and friends,” Tom said, according to Yahoo Sports. “It’s been a lot of football over the years, so… It’s always been about winning and you know, I’ve been very fortunate to be on great teams. I’m actually very grateful.”

There really wasn’t any doubt that Tom would secure his win over the Rams. After all, when it came to playing games against Rams coach Jeff Fisher, 58, the Patriots have outscored him 104-7. Even with Tom’s BFF Rob Gronkowski, 27, sidelined with reported back surgery over a herniated disc, the Patriots quarterback was able to use New England’s roster to secure the win.

What a bizarre and strange season for Tom. It started not with him hitting the gridiron but with hitting the beach. Tom, after failing to fight his 4-game suspension over his role in the “DeflateGate” scandal that rocked the NFL, spent the first month on vacation. He and wife, Gisele Bundchen, 36, spent their time relaxing (and in Tom’s case, sunbathing while naked.)
When the first month of the 2016 NFL season was over, Tom was free to return. Oh, he did – in a big way. Granted, Tom was playing the winless Cleveland Browns, but that didn’t stop the Patriots from utterly demolishing the team. It seems that Tom was ready to put the controversy behind him. He even made fun of it in a Foot Locker commercial.
Now that Tom has win number 201, what’s next? Win #202, hopefully. The Patriots head play the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 12, before heading to Colorado to meet Peyton Manning’s, 40, former team, the Denver Broncos. The Pats then close out the season against the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. How many more wins will Tom have under his belt when the season’s over?
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think that with this win, Tom is truly the greatest quarterback in NFL history?
