Honor Wall Projects
Honoring Veterans, Empowering Health
Thank you for choosing Robley Rex VA Medical Center as your healthcare provider of choice. We are proud of the wide variety of excellent services and resources we offer our Nation’s Heroes, and strive to be our Veteran’s health partners, by providing personalized, proactive, patient-centered care.
One way we are honoring Veterans and personalizing care is through our Honor Wall initiatives. These projects honor Veterans by displaying memorabilia, artifacts, and pictures of Veterans in designated areas of our facilities, as well as on the Robley Rex VAMC website and social media pages.
In the Emergency Room and Admitting hallway, we have created an Honor Wall called Veterans Serving Veterans. This wall consists of pictures of Robley Rex VAMC employees who not only serve Veterans today, but also served our Nation in one of our Armed Forces.
Along the main hallway on the first floor, you will find another Honor Wall simply called Honor Wall. This wall consists of memorabilia, artifacts, and pictures which have been donated to Robley Rex VAMC by former patients, their families, employees, Veteran Organizations, and others.
On our Robley Rex VAMC Facebook page, we are also running a great Honor Wall campaign called Throwback Thursday. Every Thursday, we feature a picture of a Veteran in uniform from way-back (or not so way back) when. These pictures are sent in by our Facebook family and friends, and include the picture, the name of the person in the picture, their branch of service, and a little about what the Veteran is doing in the picture.
