Our Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Agency Financial Report (AFR) provides information enabling the Congress, the President, and the public to assess our stewardship over the financial resources entrusted to us and our performance as an organization.  The report provides results on VA’s progress towards providing America’s Veterans with the best in benefits and health care; a high-level summary of our accomplishments during the year; a discussion of the challenges we face going forward; and an analysis of our financial position and the Inspector General’s Statement on VA’s Major Management Challenges.

The AFR includes our annual audited financial statements and the report on the audit of those financial statements.

For additional information about the Office of Inspector General’s reports and studies (including the Major Management Challenges shown in the Annual Financial Report (AFR), please access the OIG’s homepage at:  http://www.va.gov/oig/.
