PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – As the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System makes final preparations to open its new outpatient clinic for veterans along Magnolia Beach Road on Dec. 7, its current outpatient facility on Naval Support Activity Panama City will close for staff and equipment relocation to the new clinic from Dec. 1-6. Announcement Flier

No patient care is scheduled on those dates. Prescription processing will be uninterrupted and all prescriptions mailed from VA’s Consolidated Mail Out Pharmacy will still be on target for normal delivery. Veterans with behavioral health appointments at the Panama City Beach VA Clinic West location are unaffected by this relocation.

The new 30,160 square foot facility, officially named Panama City Beach VA Clinic (address: 2600 Veterans Way, Panama City Beach FL, 32408), will house the GCVHCS’s primary care, laboratory, pharmacy, dental and many more services. Behavioral health services are currently offered through the GCVHCS’s Panama City Beach VA Clinic West location, located at 140 Richard Jackson Boulevard.

The hours of operation for the new clinic will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed on federal holidays; phone (850-636-7000 or toll free, 888-231-5047.)

U.S. Naval Hospital Pensacola is also opening a new branch health clinic on Dec. 5, as part of the same construction project. GCVHCS and NHP officials are planning to hold a joint Open House/Ribbon Cutting event at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2017.
