J.D. Admissions
We offer a welcoming, vibrant community, an accessible and talented faculty, and the most comprehensive legal curriculum in the nation: more than 400 courses and seminars in disciplines ranging from constitutional law to intellectual property to international and comparative law. The Fall 2016 J.D. entering class has students from 42 states and 16 foreign countries, representing 228 different colleges and universities worldwide. Our diverse class is comprised of 53% women, 27% that self-identify as minority and an extraordinary variety of backgrounds.
Graduate Admissions
Georgetown's graduate programs attract a diverse and highly qualified group of students from throughout the United States and the world. Each year, we welcome graduate students from around 70 countries, representing approximately 300 law schools worldwide. Georgetown Law is proud of the diversity and breadth of interests and experience of our student body.
Financial Aid
Georgetown Law assists students and alumni with financing their legal educations through need-based grants, student loans, work-study and one of the nation's premier loan repayment assistance programs.

We are located at 600 New Jersey Ave., NW, Washington, DC, 20001, on the 5th floor of the Law Center's McDonough Building.
Because of construction in the area, the New Jersey Avenue entrance to McDonough Hall is the primary entrance for visitors.
Disabled visitors and guests utilizing wheel chairs are encouraged to use the F Street entrance to McDonough Hall. That entrance has a ramp and has been especially equipped with communications equipment to allow visitors to speak directly to the Department of Public Safety to receive approved access into the building.
