Office of Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs, a team in the Office of the Chief of Schools, exists to support and implement student programming and provide critical support services to middle and high school students.  From overseeing the publishing of scholarship and community service opportunities to making available important information on student activities, this page is your hub for important student affairs items.

Scholarships

Scholarship information and college & career preparation resources for students are available through Family Connection. To register for Family Connection please email student.affairs@dc.gov.

Community Service

DCPS Students are required to participate in a minimum of 100 hours of community service in order to graduate. Community partners interested in making opportunities available to students may email the Office of Student Affairs at student.affairs@dc.gov or submit a request via this online form.
