Works great. I increased the speed to near maximum and get 12-14 shots per CO2 cartridge. This will not hold pressure in the CO2 cartridge if you break the seal and leave it for a day. It will leak slowly. You can load the CO2 cartridge without breaking the seal and store/holster it this way. The seal is broken with the first pull of the trigger and rounds will fire for each pull of the trigger thereafter.

This pistol is well made and the price is very competitive. I bought it for home protection along with 'live' (tear gas/pepper spray) ammunition. I hope I never have to use it for this purpose but it is non-lethal peace of mind.

Tipx is a great mag fed pistol. With the option of modding the breach to feed first strike rounds for a relatively low price to the solid construction. Best pistol on the market. End of story about that...the only problem with the kit is that tippman makes the worlds worst gear unfortunately. The holster is most likely not gonna do everything as advertised for example, the co2 cartridge pouch attatches to the outside of the holster using velcro which will come undone one u start running. on the other hand if u strip off the gear from the holster you will have a better experience with it u can tighten the straps around your leg for a secure fit. At the end of the day i would say the kit is still worth the extra money because of the fact it comes with an additional 7 ball mag which is a major key.

I bought this TIPX primarily for use as a non-lethal home defense device using the (Salt) pepper/tear gas balls. With its relative long range compared to other pepper spray guns, I have no doubt that this will be a deterrent to intruders of the home. It looks scary mean. The C02 cartridge is easy to load and arm. You can store for long periods of time since the cartridge is only punctured with the first pull of the trigger and is then armed.

Awesome marker. In my opinion probably the best on the market. If only they made, or I could find a butt stock for this marker, with the addition of a longer barrel and some higher capacity magazines it would be a complete solution. Great build quality. It's not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for in this case.

This gun is fun to shoot. Great for super close quarters and when you're busy reloading your main. Works best in scenarios where everyone is mag fed, since you're not going to be able to compete with a hopper for long.

Pros
The color varieties this come in are great
Looks and functions like a normal semi auto pistol. You don't have a slide or a hammer to worry about though. Point and click application
Easy to add co2 cartridges - they go in the front under the barrel, you just unscrew the black cap, add the cartridge, put cap back on, and pull trigger once to pop the seal.
Magazines function EXACTLY like normal pistol mags. Easy to reload, swap out, etc. When you eject the mag, there is no loss of air.

Easy to adjust FPS (there's a spot in the rear where the hammer would be)
Lightweight for the size (when fully loaded feels a little less heavy than a 9mm with 4 inch barrel and polymer grip)
The grip is good for me, although small hands would have trouble.
The case it comes with is nice
Rail on the bottom is nice, haven't had to use it yet though.
Threaded barrel allows for customization.

Cons
If you have a paint break inside, could be tricky to clean out since full dis-assembly may be required
To maintenance the internals, you have to take the entire gun apart. Basically split it in half. You can see all the screws in the picture, you remove all of those.
All plastic exterior. Its tough stuff, but I would have preferred if the top component was metal and not just the barrel part.
Size: this thing is about the size of a Desert Eagle. It is larger than any handgun I own. Its prettly light despite that. Be warned when finding a holster to fit it into
The safety is kinda weird, its like the depress buttons you find on rental guns as opposed to the normal switch versions. Meaning you can't just thumb it on and off. You have to use an index finger to make it live, thumb to make it safe.
