Lucy Parham, presenter for BBC Radio 3 commented:
Heejae Kim’s thoughtful and stylish rendition of Beethoven’s Piano Concert No.4 was clearly an audience favourite. She particularly shone in the second and third movements and will definitely be a name to watch.

Heejae Kim graduated from Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig, Germany in 2013, having studied under Gerald Fauth. Heejae Kim has attracted enthusiastic attention to her musicality through a number of recitals performed in Leipzig, Seoul, Paris and Brussels. Her interpretation of Brahms’ Third Piano Sonata has received critical acclaim. Her performances  of Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven and Bach have also won over many audiences.
