I use this set almost every day and as I said have no complaints. This is a good buy and I recommend it.
For all you fellow tool junkies out there, granted this isn't the nicest sanding drum attachment set on the market, but for the home hobbyist or a pro who only occasionally has the need, these will serve quite nicely. For 20 bucks you cannot go wrong here...
In short, don't buy it. Will it do the job - yes, most of the time, but not as well as it should. It's good enough that I haven't trashed it in the years I've had it but I don't really use it that heavily. It's bad enough that I would definitely recommended looking at another brand for your first purchase.
Everything everyone has said about the bulging issue is very true. It's not always a problem, but often enough that it's worth mentioning. The bigger problem for me is that several of the drums are next too impossible to get new sanding sleeves on to. I've ruined countless sleeves trying to get the suckers on there. I've take the arbors all the way out, tried to squeeze the drums to size, even put them in the freezer to try to shrink the rubber a bit to get the sleeve to fit. Obviously that's not what any of us wants. Once I am working on a project I need to be able to keep the momentum going and smoothly flow from one tool to the next and when I have to stop for 20 minutes or more just to try and change a sanding sleeve it's very frustrating.
Now that I'm writing this review I'm thinking I should probably just buy a new set instead of new sleeves. I just started selling some of my products through my own online store and expect to use it much more heavily so I may just junk it.
Bottom line - even if you only consider yourself an amateur woodworker or only expect to use it once or twice I'd highly reccomend spending your money on another product. We all know that cutting corners on tool expense is rarely worth it and this is a classic example of that.

the 1 1/5 drum is not centered and the sanding drums are not labeled according to grit. on the good side they use a carriage bolt for the arbor so no hex nut on the bottom. Read morePublished 2 days ago by christine
Great kit at a great price. If using to finish up notched tubing, do not attempt to use a handheld. Use a drill press and they work great.Published 5 days ago by 2manyfenders
This drum sanding Kit worked great. I've used several different sizes and they all perform as expected. Changing the sanding pads is quick and easy.Published 10 days ago by ScionFreak
I love the idea of these, but some of the sizes had issues with the sanding bands staying attached to the drums. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Jessica M.
This is exactly what I needed and it worked very well sanding inside curves and I also used it for outside curves and straight lines. Read morePublished 11 months ago by Max C. Mcmillon
