NCEI provides customers with both production climate information and raw data from the NCEI archive. To order NCEI products and services visit the Online Store or call the customer support team at 828-271-4800. The NCEI Contact page provides detailed contact information for specific climate areas.
The customer support center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time except on Federal holidays.

Website Issues
NCEI wishes to keep its web pages free of functionality problems (including broken links and/or missing images). To report website issues, please send an email to ncei.orders@noaa.gov. When informing us of problems, however, users should be aware that filters will prevent receipt of messages with no subject line or with subject lines that appear to be spam. Be sure to also include the web address of the page that you are contacting us about.
Data Issues
If you are a NOAA employee and have issues to report regarding the quality of NOAA data, you may file a report through Datzilla. Non-NOAA employees can send an email to ncei.orders@noaa.gov.
World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Resolution 40 NOAA Policy
NCEI data and products that contain international data may have conditions placed on their international commercial use. They can be used within the United States or for noncommercial international activities without restriction. Redistribution of these data by others must provide this same notification. The non-U.S. data cannot be redistributed for commercial purposes. For details, please consult the WMO policy.

Online Store
All online data are now free to access and download for all customers. In addition, customers can order a variety of items such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, and posters through the Online Store. The Online Store also provides service for our partner Data Centers—the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) and the the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC)—and their products.
NOTE: Most offline services require an additional charge. Prepayment is required, and your customer service representative will inform you of the cost. NCEI accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, wire transfers, and Automated Clearing House. Please refer to the NCEI Non-Federal Customer Payment Policy for additional information.

Certified Data
Most states require records that are submitted as evidence in a court of law to be authenticated in some way. To accommodate this requirement, NCEI offers Department of Commerce Certificatoin of the data maintained in our archives. See the Certification of Data page for further information.
Consulting and Expert Testimony
NCEI is frequently called upon to supply professional meteorologists who can testify in court and render expert opinions regarding weather conditions at a given time and location. Providing expert opinions violates U.S. Government policy prohibiting competition with private enterprise, and Federal regulations do not allow it in almost all cases. Private-sector organizations that provide access to certified consulting meteorologists (CCM) include the American Meteorological Society (AMS), the National Council of Industrial Meteorologists (NCIM), and the National Weather Association.
