Inauguration Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m., January 17, at Legislative Hall in Dover

WILMINGTON, DEL. – Governor-elect John Carney and Lieutenant Governor-elect Bethany Hall-Long on Wednesday announced the Inauguration schedule for January 14-17, 2017.

Media interested in covering the Inauguration Ceremony on January 17 must RSVP by January 10 to Jessica.Borcky@state.de.us.

CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS
The Celebration of the Arts events will include works and performances representing the talents of Delawareans. A complete list of artists and performers will be available soon. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and bring a non-perishable good. All contributions will help feed the hungry in Sussex County.

Weather: In the event of extremely inclement weather, the Inauguration Ceremony will be moved to Central Middle School Auditorium, 211 Delaware Avenue, Dover, Delaware. Any location change will be sent by 7 a.m. on January 17.
