Miscellaneous Orders

Miscellaneous orders relate to multiple cases or to issues of court policy. Typically signed by the Chief Judge, they are intended for publication but are of a less enduring nature than General Orders.

	Miscellaneous Order 2015.11.17: Appointment of Federal Public Defender for Johnson Litigation (.pdf, 17 KB) — Presumptively appoints Federal Public Defender to represent defendants previously entitled to appointment of counsel or currently indigent in connection with seeking federal habeas relief under either 28 U.S.C. § 2255 or 28 U.S.C. § 2241 in light of Johnson v.
