Communities around the world will stand together in solidarity shoulder to shoulder for the protection of our human rights, our safety, our health, and our families. The strength of our cultures is essential to create vibrant, diverse and strong communities. We will rally together in solidarity, equality, diversity and inclusion. This day will be recognized as the International Day of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Women’s March on Washington
The Women’s March on Washington began as an organic groundswell the day after the 2016 election, when a grandmother in Hawaii proposed to forty of her friends to march in Washington, D.C. Bob Bland, Tamika D. Mallory, Carmen Perez, and Linda Sarsour grabbed the reigns to organize a National Women's March on Washington.
Register for your bus ticket to join the Canadian Delegation.
March Kits are being put together so that Canadians may be recognized during the delegation to Washington. Our US colleagues, friends and families are calling us their #sistersfromthenorth
All profits (approx $20) from the sale of these march kits will sponsor women who cannot afford a bus fare to join us on the Delegation.
Toques will also be available for sale separately.
