Carsten Spohr, the chief executive of Lufthansa, said on Thursday that Mr. Lubitz had passed the company’s health checks with “flying colors.”
Poor choice of words, perhaps. As most people here know, one of my favorite subjects is the relationship between SCALE and mental illness, particularly forms of illness such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD which have no obvious direct cause. I posit that factors like atomization, transactionalism, and competitive pressures place people closer to a breaking point, so that it is easier for a cycle of escalating mental illness to take hold. Once it does, people have fewer resources to help them emerge from this breakdown, and eventually they have no choice but to write bitter screeds about a congenial forum admin.
Nevertheless, I think that flying a plane of 150 people into a mountain is completely outrageous, and that being a suicidal maniac is not a very good excuse. It turns out Stephanie Bolland (why is it always a woman?) vehemently disagrees, and I just need to get over my cis-sanity bullshit.

In terms of “topics you might want to cover a bit sensitively”, this one ranks pretty high. But the front pages this morning have admirably stuck to their line of being as awful as possible.
Cue display of tabloid shock headlines.
Urges to be more sensitive always seem to come from some berating cow who is in love with making people listen to her frequently deranged opinions.

That's jumping to conclusions--maybe it was a herstory of depression, you filthy misogynist cunt. This 100% sexist twat continues, warming to her theme that there's nothing bad about being crazy:

I think that just means they're British. Probably once Sharia law is instituted these numbers will come down.

Indeed, the governor of Minnesota is a medicated depressive lunatic, and our own president is a bipolar homo. Hillary Clinton has actual brain damage from one of her many mini-strokes. And yet they all perform their jobs (reading speeches and having their pictures taken holding the New York Times to prove they're still alive) perfectly.

It turns out another stupid, middle-aged woman, Grauniad "journalist" Elena Cresci, has been twittering around the clock about this critical issue, whining about it in the passive-aggressive language of a certain MPC chat fixture. Let's take a look at a random sample of her Twitter feed.
Whoops, I didn't mean to focus on this insensitive detractor. Here's another.
Throwing around the word "crazy" when the subject is sensitivity for the criminally insane? This jackass doesn't even know how to read.
I have to grudgingly admit this lout has a point. Elena Cresci is talking like black people don't even exist.
Is she saying she doesn't want to see or hear black people's opinions? Disgusting.
Elena Cresci tackles other important subjects of interest to a narrow spectrum of weak whytes:
