Television Feature production includes a weekly satellite feed for news and farm broadcasters covering USDA events and activities. We write and produce TV features, prepare video segments and provide coverage of news conferences, agency information campaigns and vital messages. USDA-TV Features are aired regularly on the nation's leading agricultural broadcast networks. Stories cover mission messages including trade, biotechnology, rural development, research, water quality, nutrition, food safety, national forests, conservation, cooperative extension, small farms, and marketing.

New stories are usually added each Thursday.

Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food is a USDA initiative to promote sustainable local and regional food systems that will support small and mid-sized farms and ranches, promote healthy communities and protect our natural resources.

USDA was appropriated $28 billion (3.5 percent) of the package. The Act provides $19.7 billion to increase the monthly amount of nutrition assistance to 31.8 million people. Enables expanded opportunities for broadband loans and grants to rural communities. Expands funding opportunities to develop water and waste facilities.
Provides funding to protect and conserve the nation's forests and farm land.
