Customer Service
OSP offers customer service and support to all state, federal, county and city agencies. We provide estimates and advice on submitting projects for production. We communicate schedules, and work pro-actively to deliver a high quality printing on time. We are your one point of contact for all OSP services.
Fulfillment Services
The OSP Fulfillment Department manages your print inventory, processes orders from your end users and ships ordered items out to the recipients.
Creative Design Services
OSP Design helps federal, state and local government organizations communicate better by combining sound marketing principles, relevant aesthetics and cutting-edge technology into effective solutions that objectively solve the communication problem across print, screen and online mediums.
Bindery
The Bindery is the final process of all printed materials and products that come through the plant. We assure that quality has been upheld throughout all previous processes including our own. The bindery does all the finishing processes on all jobs including packaging and some distribution and mailing. We assure the customer receives a quality final product as specified by the customer.
Electronic Prepress
The EPP department provides electronic pre-press preparation services as well as proofreading services. EPP ensures that each offset print project that passes through OSP is prepared and setup correctly for its journey through the presses.
Pressroom
The OSP Pressroom uses offset printing equipment to provide quality printed materials to a wide variety of state agencies as well as providing on demand printing for all Legislative publications and documents at the Capitol.
Legislative Bill Room (LBR)
The Legislative Bill Room (LBR) is part of the Office of State Publishing (OSP) in the Department of General Services. OSP Provides printing services for the California State Legislature, producing printed copies of the publications and recordings of legislative procedures on a daily basis.
Digital Print and Mass Mail
Digital Print/Mass Mailing Services provides Digital Printing and Mailing Services to all State of California agencies. Services include black and white printing, full color printing, cutting, stitching, perfect binding, saddle stitching, folding, 3 hole drill, comb binding, tape binding, mail inserting and mailing.
Interagency Mail & Messenger Service
The Interagency Mail & Messenger Service (IMS) provides daily mail service between State offices in the greater Sacramento area including Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova.
State Records Center
The State Records Center (SRC) provides low cost storage services for 144 different state agencies.
Advertising
The OSP Advertising Program gives state agencies an opportunity to reduce their printing costs through the incorporation of paid advertising in their publications and mailings.
Procurement
The Office of State Publishing offers a complete printing procurement service to assist customers in completing projects, even when it means vending them out, saving time and money.

Interagency Mail
The Interagency Mail & Messenger Service (IMS) provides
daily mail service between State offices in the greater Sacramento area including Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova
. The IMS also provides messenger service on either a prescheduled or as needed basis. The IMS also provides delivery service of boxed documents to and from the State Records Center & Document Destruction Center.
