PMIef Awards Overview
Community Advancement Through Project Management Award
In 2016, we will recognize the pro bono contributions of PMI chapters, individual project managers, and corporations or government agencies that increase the capacities of nonprofit organizations. Projects completed since January 2013 are eligible.
The Kerzner Award
This prestigious award recognizes a project manager who most emulates the professional dedication and excellence of Dr. Harold Kerzner, MS, MBA, PhD. The award is sponsored by International Institute for Learning, Inc. (IIL) and administered by PMIef.
Donald S. Barrie Award
Mr. Barrie was a distinguished individual in the construction industry and project management profession. The award recognizes a paper that advances A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) in the field of design, procurement and/or construction by providing a useful contribution to the engineering and construction industry.
James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award (ISPA)
The ISPA recognizes excellence in student development of original concepts in project management. Winning papers demonstrate research and creative effort that advance the concepts, tools and techniques of managing project-oriented tasks. Mr. Snyder is a founder of PMI and a distinguished leader of the profession.
