Health Sciences Centre - UBC Okanagan

Outland Design was retained by UBC Properties Trust to undertake conceptual landscape planning, design development and contract administration services for the Health Sciences Centre at the Okanagan campus of the University of British Columbia – the first medical school to open in the Central Okanagan. The state-of-the-art teaching facilities were designed by Stantec Architecture and are in the process of third party registration for LEED gold certification. The landscape improvements for the facility included outdoor seating areas, plazas, naturalized planting areas and tree, turf and shrub plantings. Landscape construction improvements for the residence were undertaken by Westwind Nurseries and Landscaping Limited.
