NEW!  2017 PIP Application
The Lieutenant Governor’s Office on Aging (LGOA) will accept applications for the Permanent Improvement Project (PIP) grant program from February 1 – 28, 2017.  Completed applications must be submitted to the local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for approval before the LGOA will consider the project application.  Applications not approved by an AAA will not be accepted/considered.  Applicants must fully understand the PIP guidelines and requirements before submitting applications.  The LGOA will award grants, based on available funding, once a thorough review process is completed.  The application is available for download here.

Healthy Connections Prime Ombudsman Program
Healthy Connections Prime Ombudsman services provided through the Lieutenant Governor’s Office on Aging are available for Healthy Connections Prime members in a Medicare-Medicaid plan.  The advocate for the Healthy Connections Prime Program is called the Healthy Connections Prime Ombudsman.  Healthy Connections Prime provides the same benefits as Medicare and Healthy Connections Medicaid.  Extra benefits that are not usually covered by those programs may be available through the selected Healthy Connections Medicare-Medicaid plan.  The additional benefits and services vary by Healthy Connections Medicare-Medicaid plans.  Contact the Healthy Connections Prime Ombudsman Program for assistance at 1-844-477-4632 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or visit for more information.
