Training Announcement

We are pleased to announce we will be conducting AST/UST installer training sessions in February. For your convenience, we will be holding sessions in Wausau and Madison. The training will be the same at each location, and by attending either training you will earn a total of 6 continuing education credits. The fee for this training is $20 and lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Please complete the registration form below for the training you wish to attend and return it with the registration fee by the deadline indicated.

Continuing Education Credit Requirements for Storage Tank Certifications

Wisconsin Administrative Code SPS 305 requires AST Installers, UST Installers, and Tank System Inspectors to obtain 12 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) within the 2 year certification period in order to renew their certification. Certified individuals that do not obtain the required CECs must retake the exam in order to renew.

An approved course may provide continuing education credits for more than one SPS 305 credential that an individual holds.

Continuing Education Credit Providers

If you would like to become a CEC Provider, or need to renew a course approval, please complete the Continuing Education Course Application and return it to DATCPWeightsandMeasures@wisconsin.gov.

CEC Providers are required to submit course rosters within 10 days of the completion of the course using the Continuing Education Course Roster.
