Get Help Downloading & Printing Files

Printing files

To print a document or file, click the printer icon within the document viewer (typically Acrobat or Word). With Microsoft Office applications, you can also navigate to the "Print" menu from the Microsoft Office logo button in the upper left corner of your screen (for Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 versions) or navigate to the "Print" menu from the "File" menu (for pre-Microsoft Office 2007 versions).

File size and type

File size and type are listed for each file.

If you find any downloads unacceptable or require an alternate format, look for a link to contact information on the page — or use L&I's Contact Information page. We are happy to mail a copy in an alternate format. Please note that some documents require a fee to be paid if printed by L&I.

High speed connection (broadband) users

Large files are provided for those with high-speed or broadband connections who want to download large files as one, rather than in smaller components. Your download time will be determined by your connection type and other variables.

Saving a file to your computer

  1. Right-click on the link to the file you want to save to your computer.
  2. Choose "Save Target As" (or "Save Link As" on a Mac operating system).
  3. In the "Save As" screen, find the directory on your system where you want to store the document.
  4. Click on "Save."
