ATSDR to Host Pease International Tradeport (Portsmouth, NH) Community Assistance Panel Meeting

(Portsmouth, New Hampshire) - The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a federal public health agency, will hold a Community Assistance Panel (CAP) meeting open to the public on February 7th, 2017. ATSDR releases public health assessment of drinking water at Camp Lejeune

ATSDR Releases Final VOCs and Metal Exposures from Air Emissions in Media Other than Air Public Health Report in Midlothian, TX

(Midlothian, Texas) - ATLANTA, GA – The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) released its final report, a “Review and Analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Metal Exposures from Air Emissions in Media Other than Air,” as part of the Midlothian Area Air Quality Petition Response. The public comment version was released on May 12, 2016.

ATSDR Releases Final Health Consultation for the 35th Avenue Site, North Birmingham, Alabama

(North Birmingham, Alabama) - (ATLANTA, GA) – The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) released its final report, an “Evaluation of Surface Soil and Garden Produce Exposures” for the 35th Avenue site in North Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. The public comment version was released on July 22, 2015.

Federal agency to discuss Camp Lejeune health activities at public meetings on January 21
Wednesday, January 04, 2017
(Jacksonville, North Carolina) - (Atlanta)-- The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) invites the public to hear from the scientists who conducted public health activities to understand the impact of exposure to contaminated drinking water at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The scientists will discuss these public health activities during a 5 p.m. special session, followed by a public meeting at 6 p.m. on January 21, 2017, in Jacksonville, NC. The Community Assistance Panel (CAP) meeting also will take place on January 21 at 9:00 a.m.; that meeting is also open to the public. Representatives from the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) will be present at the meetings to answer questions about the VA programs for those exposed at Camp Lejeune.
