  • Short Course in Genomics: Nurse, Physician Assistant and Faculty Track New

    The Genomic Healthcare Branch offers the NHGRI Short Course in Genomics: Nurse, Physician Assistant and Faculty Track from August 1 - August 3, 2016. This year's course is for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and the faculty who educate these health professionals in genomics.

  • Genetics and Education Fellowship

    The American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) and the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) co-sponsor the Genetics and Education Fellowship, which gives genetics professionals and opportunity to contribute to education program development and research at a national level.

  • University of the District of Columbia and the National Human Genome Research Institute Genomics Course

    Designed to foster an understanding of the various genome sequencing projects and their implications for health, research and society, the course prepares students for an advanced knowledge of genomics, its interdisciplinary nature and its role in personalized medicine. Subject matter for each individual lecture is conceptualized, developed and presented by UDC and NHGRI staff.
