WASHINGTON, March 5, 2013 Accuracy in Media will honor Catherine Herridge of the Fox News Channel for her outstanding achievements in investigative journalism, and Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit for his groundbreaking contributions to New Media in a ceremony taking place at the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on March 14th. This has to be from The Onion. Jim Hoft noted for “accuracy”? Bwahahahaha

  • Thanks Aim! I enjoy Catherine’s reporting and read GatewayPundit all the time… 2 well deserved winners!

Seriously? The Dumbest Man on the Internet™ is getting an award for “accuracy?” Is that for the time he couldn’t tell the difference between closed-captioning and an audience cue? Or maybe it was for the time he touted a secret order of tanks for DHS which was actually a totally not-secret (it was announced on DOD’s website, for cryin’ out loud) order of armored vehicles for the Marines. There are so many, really.

  • Hope they get his name right on the award! When Reed irvine left AIM’s “Media Monitor” broadcast years ago and was replaced by Don Irvine, instead of saying “Don Irvine and Cliff Kinkaid,” the announcer (on Bott Radio Network’s syndicated “Encounter Magazine”) introduced them as “Reed Irvine and Don Kinkaid.” This went on for about six months. AIM didn’t catch it.
