Barbra Streisand Set For 32nd Top 10 Album on Billboard 200 Chart

Ultimate diva Barbra Streisand is set to capture her 32nd top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart next week. The entertainer's new "Release Me" may sell 40,000 copies by week's end on Sunday, Oct. 14 -- so say industry forecasters. The Columbia Records archival set, which contains previously unreleased material from throughout her career, will mark her sixth consecutive top 10 effort in a row. Her current streak began with 2003's "The Movie Album" (which peaked at No. 3) and includes the No. 1 set "Love Is The Answer" (2009).

The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 17.

As for the rest of the top 10, watch for Mumford & Sons' "Babel" to hold at No. 1 with around 100,000 or so, while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" should start at No. 2 with 75,000. The latter album's arrival -- which we reported on earlier this week -- will mark the Billboard 200 debut for both artists.

Elsewhere in next week's top 10, we're also expecting debuts from the likes of KISS, MGK (Machine Gun Kelly), Coheed & Cambria, All Time Low and Ellie Goulding.

Legendary rock band Kiss is on course (or kourse) for its ninth top 10 with its new studio effort, "Monster." Sources say it could sell around 60,000. The group's last studio set, 2009's Walmart-exclusive "Sonic Boom," debuted and peaked at No. 2 with a 108,000 opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

MGK, aka Machine Gun Kelly, is looking forward to his debut set, "Lace Up," bowing in the top 10. The Bad Boy/Interscope effort -- which features collaborations with Tech N9ne, Lil Jon and Waka Flocka Flame -- may sell 50,000.

Rock bands All Time Low and Coheed and Cambria are also aiming for the top 10 with their latest releases. Both the former's "Don't Panic" and the latter's "The Afterman: Ascension" are heading for a start around 40,000.

Finally, after breaking through big time with her single "Lights," British singer Ellie Goulding should grab her first top 10 album next week. The artist's second album, "Halcyon," is on course for a launch around 30,000.

On Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart (below), Macklemore & Lewis' is No. 1 while Mumford & Sons is No. 2. The Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking -- reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week as reported by six major merchants.

As for the rest of the Building chart's top 10: MGK, KISS, All Time Low and Goulding ranks at Nos. 3-6, respectively. The Script's new album, "#3," is No. 7, but might miss the top 10 on the Billboard 200 next week. Coheed and Cambria is No. 8, P!nk's "The Truth About Love" is No. 9 and Streisand is No. 10.
