Parineeti Chopra – Ajay Devgn will share the screen space for the first time in Golmaal 4.
Actor Parineeti Chopra has her hands full with a lot of projects this year. While she has just wrapped up the shoot of Yash Raj Film’s Meri Pyari Bindu along with Ayushmann Khurrana and already working on her character in Takadum with Sushant Singh Rajput, we got to know that she has bagged a role in the fourth installment of the hit comic series — Golmaal. We have seen Parineeti enacting some serious and complicated roles onscreen but now we would see if the girl can pull off a comedy role as convincingly as her other films so far.
For the first time, Parineeti will be working with actor-director duo Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, who have had back to back hit films together. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, “It’s official! Parineeti Chopra is the new #Golmaal girl… Directed by Rohit Shetty… Diwali 2017 release.” Apart from Ajay and Parineeti, the cast of Golmaal 4 includes Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was a part of Golmaal 2 and Golmaal 3, had reportedly walked out of the upcoming installment due to her pregnancy.

On the other hand, even Ajay Devgn, who recently tasted the success of Shivaay, took to Twitter to congratulate and welcome Pari to the new “crazy family”. He wrote, “Welcome to the crazy Golmaal family” to which Parineeti replied, “Thankyouuu!! I am so excited to be a part of this family.”
Earlier, there were rumours that the female lead of the film will be Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone. However, now the makers have settled down on Pari, whose physical transformation has done wonders to her career.

The Golmaal series has been much successful. It turned out to be one of the most popular Bollywood comedy franchises. Golmaal 4 will reportedly be filmed in Goa and the shooting is likely to commence in the month of December this year.
