Obituary Notices
Our newspapers would like to lend our support at a time of loss. This site was developed to provide a more personalized way for Funeral Homes and families to place an Obituary Notice.
To create an obituary on line you will follow these steps displayed in a template format.
  1. Select the Newspaper(s)
  2. Select the style of notice
  3. Create the notice text and add a photo, symbol and/or a funeral home logo
  4. Proofread the notice
  5. Schedule the date(s) that it will run
  6. Complete transaction

Bay Area News Group will send an Affidavit (Proof of Publication) to the person named in the billing information. If there is a court hearing the Affidavit will also be sent to the County Clerk Recorder. Notices with hearings must complete publication at least 1 week prior to the hearing date in order to ensure delivery of the affidavit to the Clerk Recorder.
