Borrowing from the Special Needs Library

Resources in the special needs collection are available to any person with a disability (or their legal guardian) who live within the City of Gold Coast and is a City of Gold Coast Libraries member.

A referral from an allied health professional such as speech or occupational therapist, a teacher, GP or Community Health Nurse is required to join.  An appointment for an initial visit to the Special Needs Library can be made by phoning 07 5581 7180.

After the initial visit you can put resources on hold via the library catalogue and most items (other than large bulky items) can be made available for collection from any branch library.

Ten items can be borrowed for a four week period at any one time.
