Kentucky Wildcats talent De’Aaron Fox will enter the 2017 NBA Draft, a source told FanRag Sports on Monday. He will also be signing with an agent, which makes him ineligible to return to college.

According to most reputable mock NBA Draft outlets, Fox is projected to be selected within the first 10 picks. Some have him going within the first five picks.

During his lone season at Kentucky, Fox averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.

The freshman did an even better job enhancing his professional prospects when the regular season was over. In postseason play, which included both the SEC and NCAA tournaments, Fox upped his per-game averages to 21.6 points, 2.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. He also managed to make 56 percent of his shots from the floor.

As for the Wildcats, they finished their season with an overall record of 32-6. Having won the SEC regular season championship, Kentucky would eventually fall in the NCAA Tournament to the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Kentucky will be bringing in six five-star prospects to campus for next season. As a comparison, the Wildcats “only” had five five-star recruits commit to the program last year.
