National Art Gallery auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy was the venue for Udichi's Gonosangeet Competition held on March 18. The competition was held as a prelude to the eighth Satyan Sen Gonosangeet Utshab O Jatiyo Gonosangeet Protijogita, to commemorate Udichi Shilpigoshti founder Satyan Sen's birth anniversary.

Bangladesh Sangskriti Kormi Sangha organised a colourful rally on Monday, marking Language Martyrs Day and International Mother Language Day, from TSC of Dhaka University. A number of cultural activists joined the rally with banners and festoons of 80 countries' flags and alphabets of 30 different languages. The organisation has been holding this rally every year on February 20 since 2003.
