Mr. Lore was most recently the President and CEO of Kallisto Energy. Previously he has been a Managing Director of Rosetta Exploration Inc. and Berkana Energy Corp. and has held numerous senior positions over more than 25 years in the industry, including President of Petroland Services Ltd., Director and Corporate Secretary of New Cache Petroleum Ltd., President and Director of Aldona Resources Ltd., President of Granisko Resources Inc. and Vice-President of Heritage Oil Corporation.

While at Granisko, Mr. Lore oversaw the company’s growth in less than two years from $1 million to an appraised value of more than $200 million. Mr. Lore went on to work with Heritage Oil Corporation helping to grow it from a start-up to an active international E & P company.

Mr. Forgeron is the President of Compass Compression Services Ltd., a manufacturer of engineered natural gas compression packages. He brings to Forent Energy more than 20 years of experience in both public and private oilfield service companies.

In March 2005, Mr. Forgeron joined Compass as an owner, Director and Vice President. During this time he also established three successful, privately financed, oilfield rental companies. In March 2008 he accepted the role of President at Compass Compression and amalgamated the group of companies into the Compass Compression of today. Since the merger Compass has increased revenue by over 400 percent from both domestic and international markets.

Mr. Forgeron’s entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen has brought him both opportunity and recognition. In 2012, Forgeron was one of 50 CEO’s from across Canada to be chosen to participate in the Quantum Shift program at the Richard Ivey School of Business’ Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship. In 2011, Compass Compression won Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® for the Energy Services Division.

Mr. Forgeron is originally from Nova Scotia and graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. Hartzler, P.Eng. has worked in the Canadian oil and gas industry for more than 40 years. His early industry experience was in the area of field operations, completion and facilities construction, with field time spent in Rainbow Lake, Rocky Mountain House and the Crossfield regions of west central Alberta. He then moved into the economic and reserve evaluations field of the industry and was employed by the firm which today is known as GLJ Petroleum Consultants. Mr. Hartzler subsequently moved into senior management roles for both private and public companies, including Poco Petroleum Ltd, Penn West Petroleum Ltd, Birchill Resources Ltd, Goose River Resources Ltd, G2 Resources Ltd and Kallisto Energy Ltd.

Mr. Hislop is a Chartered Accountant and retired businessman with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of financing and managing private and listed oil and gas companies, partnerships and trusts. He is founder and former CEO of APF Energy Trust (“APF”), which was sold to StarPoint Energy Trust for approximately one billion dollars in June 2005. He was the President and CEO of Lakewood Energy Inc., a TSX listed oil and gas company, which was created as a result of the merger of 10 limited partnership drilling funds he created beginning in 1986. He also serves on the board of Lightstream Resources.

Mr. McLeod, P.Eng., served as a director and advisor to Heritage Oil from 1999 to 2014. He has had numerous senior executive, director and advisory roles; most recently with Kallisto Energy until its recapitalization in the fall of 2014.

W. Brett Wilson is a significant investor in Forent Energy and is Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Wilson is a long-time entrepreneur who has been particularly successful in the oil and gas industry. He co-founded the industry’s leading investment bank, FirstEnergy Capital Corp., now one of Canada’s most respected companies. In addition to his energy interests, Brett has acquired holdings in real estate, agriculture, sports and entertainment as Chairman of Prairie Merchant Corporation.

Respected for his principles and passion, Wilson has received wide recognition for his business and philanthropic leadership. He has been singled out as Alberta’s Business Person of the Year, named Calgary’s Person of the Year, and recognized as a Nation Builder for his role in encouraging entrepreneurship, particularly among youth. He has received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, is a Member of the Order of Canada, and a recipient of the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.

He is a distinguished graduate of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Management and the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Engineering. He holds an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Royal Roads University.
