First it was a novel (1938’s Alamut, by Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol). Then it was a hit video game series featuring nine different editions playable on pretty much everything with a joystick or keyboard.
And now it’s a freakin’ movie starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard and hitting theaters next week. Suffice it to say, Assassin’s Creed is kind of a big deal.
