About the set:
Credit goes to Keelhaul of Disenchanting Azeroth for combining this set with the featured weapons and for letting us use his warrior as a model!
The Alabaster Plate items are all BoE random world drops and as such your best bet for locating them is to scan the Auction House often.
Note that the chestpiece is only labelled as ‘Alabaster’, not ‘Alabaster Plate’, as with the rest of the set. However, they are a complete match in both appearance and item level, so there’s no doubt that they belong to this set. Keep it in mind when searching the AH!
The featured weapons are dual-wield two-handers, so sadly only fury warriors can achieve this full look with Titan’s Grip. Sorry!

I have been working on getting this set for a couple weeks now it seems that the belt and legs just wont appear in the ah.
however if you are getting this set for a warrior i suggest getting twinblade of the phoenix looks pretty good for an arms war.
I am currently working on collecting this full set for my Death Knight as well. Although I plan on using the Assassination Blade x2 for transmog purposes.
Is there any other boots that could match to the gear, i dont really like those boots.
Seeing as white is so rare in WoW armor, I wasn’t really able to find any boots which fit the alabaster colour in this set. Instead, I identified a couple of boots which blend better with the green in the set. Perhaps they’ll be suitable options for you.

As you’ll see, there’s quite a lot of silver and grey, but nothing quite the same white as Alabaster. Perhaps you’ll find something that’ll be a suitable compromise though. Good luck!
This set is really cool and unfortunately I have yet to see a chest which is hard to replace. The recolors of this set are not as cool which kinda sux
This is going to be a hard set to complete because of what level it is. I think a lot of people who get a green in LFD just click the auto disenchant button for greens, and others just vendor.

You will notice that the legs do not entirely fit (now that I am writing, might change) but they were the best at the time.

Be patient with the pieces if they’re too expensive on your server. A lot of people list the stuff [also got boots and gloves for around this price] without knowing the true value of this set for transmog.
Get the Training Sword if you like Kendo
I can confirm, whilst this set of armor looks absolutely awesome! It is almost impossible, if not completely impossible to obtain the entire set anymore.
If you look through Thottbot and WoWhead you’ll see that after ‘The Cataclysm’ most of these mobs no longer exist at all and the ones that still do only have a drop rate of 0.03% or so…
I’ve been searching the AH for about 3 weeks now and I have never ever seen the breastplate, shoes or gloves in the AH. Everything else I have. When looking through WoWHead and etc. I can see that there are almost no mobs left at all that drop those pieces. I’d just forget about this set entirely.
I’m inclined to disagree that it’s impossible to obtain as, whilst I’ve not specifically had it drop myself, it’s very common on the Auction Houses on my realm, and quite popular worldwide for that matter (see Undermine Journal: Alabaster Breastplate for example).
The Wowhead drop data may be skewed due to the reshuffling of some sub-60 zones. The items are broad world drops, so many creatures in the appropriate level range should still have a chance to drop Alabaster.
I imagine you’re just very unlucky or on a very low pop realm, Daniel. Don’t give up!

If you want dual-wield one-hand swords of a similar style, you can try a Ginn-Su Sword, although the hilt is a different colour.
I searching for two-handed sword to transmogrifer on my Paladin Retribution, is there a two-handed sword that it is equal at Frost Tiger Blade or Ginn-Su look?? And what plate helm i use to keep my face clean?!
There are a huge amount of 2H katanas in-game, I’ve probably missed several out, but here’s a quick list I’ve whipped up. Not all of them fit the colour scheme, but I thought it might help to show you an array of what’s out there.
Duskbringer is the closest to Frost Tiger in terms of colour.

This is such a great set, and is also shared with the Heavy Lamellar plate set as well (green). I have all four color versions but kept coming back to the Alabaster because it’s such a stark contrast to what you see other players wearing (all off-white, subtle). Gear is so overly detailed nowadays (color, pattern, form) that something like this is a real eye-catcher because it’s so straight-forward and simple. But I do think it’s this simplicity that makes it so appealing. Couple it with simple and elegant weaponry and it’s a beauty!

I agree, it’s a good looking set, unusual colouration for armor and stands out in a crowd. Definitely eye-catching. I use the Gothic Plate set on a fiery haired blood elf Death Knight alt of mine. Not dissimilar to the one featured in the article here, actually. It’s drawn a lot of attention and comments due to the unique and bold appearance, even though she’s just a glorified bank alt that’s online for at most 3 minutes at a time. Oh, and the Heavy Lamellar set will join its recoloured brethren with an article soon, once we’ve gotten ourselves up to date with all things 4.3.
