Our primary goal in the Property Appraiser's office is to serve the people of Gulf County with integrity and outstanding service while determining a fair and equitable value on properties located within Gulf County. This site has been developed as an extension of our office to provide you, the user, with the most up to date information available to us regarding properties in Gulf County. The information contained herein will be regularly maintained for your benefit. Your comments and suggestions are encouraged as we continue to enhance the features on our site. January 1st - Filing period begins for all exemptions March 1st - Filing period ends for all exemptions April 1st - Deadline for all Tangible Personal Property returns without penalty July 1st - Preliminary Tax roll Certification to the Taxing Authorities and DOR August 12th* - Notice of Proposed Taxes (TRIM's) mailed (mid-month) September 6th* - Petition filing deadline - 25 days after TRIM's are mailed out October 10th* - Value Adjustment Board hearings (determined by Clerk of Court) October 15th* - Tax roll Certified to Tax Collector (mid-month) November 10th* - Tax bills mailed out in early November (usually first week of month) *dates may not reflect actual dates but are estimates
