Aldi Play Rugby is an initiative developed by the IRFU and supported by Aldi. The programme is a fun and safe way for kids to get involved in rugby, in an enjoyable coaching environment and includes the tag, touch and X7s formats of the game.

All participating schools will have a chance to take part in Aldi Play Rugby Provincial Festivals - a day of fun competition in the tag, touch and X7s formats. Schools will then be invited to take part in the Aldi Play Rugby National Festival at the Aviva Stadium in Spring 2017.
