Background and History
London Met can trace its routes back to 1848 with the formation of London Guildhall University, done at the behest of the Bishop of London to improve moral standards amongst young men in the city. London Met was formed in 2002 when London Guildhall merged with the University of North London.Location and Accessibility
By Rail: The Holloway Road campus can be accessed by tube via Holloway Road station which is on the Piccadilly line. National rail services are available from the nearby Drayton Park station.
By Road: Driving is not recommended as parking is very limited and Holloway Road gets very congested during rush hour. If you do drive, the A1 (Holloway road) links up with the M1 and the M25. Most facilities are wheelchair friendly and accommodation is available designed for usage by people with disabilities.
