Tier 16 Sets

Patch 5.4 introduced the final raid tier for Mists of Pandaria, the Siege of Orgrimmar, and with it came a whole new range of Tier armor. This article provides an overview of the Tier 16 sets.

Siege of Orgrimmar brought with it a brand new raid mode – Flexible. Flex raids have their own level of tier armor, but share a visual appearance with Normal mode sets. As such, there are still three colourations for each classes’ tier armor, as with all raid tiers since Dragon Soul.

WoWRoleplayGear Update

Hi everybody!

I’m very sorry that there hasn’t been much in the way of new content on WoWRoleplayGear lately, especially at such a significant time for the WoW community with the release of WoD. I’ve had quite a change in real life circumstances, including a new home and a new job, which means that I’ve had to focus my efforts away from Warcraft lately.

I’d also like to apologise for the downtime on the site in early November, a hosting issue that was sadly out of my hands, but which should now be fully resolved.

I aim to update the site to feature all new WoD sets at some point, and will have more MoP articles in the nearer future, but right now I still need a little more time to settle with my new location and employment. The website will remain online (fingers crossed for no more hosting problems), and comments will continue to be accepted and read.

Thanks to everybody who has been browsing the site over the years. I hope to be back in full swing with new content sooner rather than later! In the meantime, enjoy Warlords of Draenor!

How to get the set:

This outfit is a non-class-specific visual copy of the item level 496 Mage T14 set, the Regalia of the Burning Scroll. The pieces are obtained as boss drops from Normal mode Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring, and as crafted by Tailors.

Unfortunately, there are no exact matching items for the head and hand slots, aside from the Mage tier helm and gloves themselves, which are shown in the picture above. As such, other classes cannot replicate this look perfectly.

How to get the set:

This outfit is a non-class-specific visual copy of the item level 509 Shaman T14 sets, the Firebird Battlegear/Regalia/Vestments. The pieces are obtained as boss drops from Heroic mode Mogu’shan Vaults, Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring.


Note that the first chestpiece listed is a robe, as shown above. The chest listed under the alternatives section is a tunic model however, so keep this in mind when gathering the set.

How to get the set:

This outfit is a non-class-specific visual copy of the item level 496 Shaman T14 sets, the Firebird Battlegear/Regalia/Vestments. The pieces are obtained as boss drops from Normal mode Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring, and as crafted by Leatherworkers.

Unfortunately, there are no exact matching items for the leg slot, aside from the Shaman tier pants themselves. This isn’t a problem if you wear the shaman tier robe or Vestments of Steaming Ichor to cover the legs, as depicted in the image above. However, it’s important to note that all three chests listed in the “Alternatives” section are tunics, which don’t cover the legs.
