ECHOES 2 project graded outstanding by ESRC

The TEL ECHOES 2 project, led by Dr Kaska Porayska-Pomsta has been graded ‘outstanding’ by funders ESRC.

The project was concerned with developing an interactive learning environment for typically developing children and children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders to help them acquire, explore and practice social interaction skills.

The project involved eight partners from all over the UK, including Birmingham University, Sussex University, Heriot Watt, Edinburgh University, Dundee University, Strathclyde University and Cardiff Metropolitan University.

As such this project was a large interdisciplinary undertaking, which makes this final grade all the more significant.
