Grady County Sheriff's Office Deputy Corey Loftice successfully underwent surgery on Monday. After finishing his last round of dialysis, Loftice underwent a kidney transplant Monday afternoon.

The CFD recently celebrated Class 1-17’s completion of training on Friday.  The 4-week class, allowed CFD as well as other nearby fire departments to have new hires certified in FF1 when they go on shift instead of having to wait for months for the class.
